About Chillin Stays

Chillin Stays was created out of a simple frustration: too many vacation rental owners are doing the hard work while giving away a large share of their rental income to platforms that control the guest relationship.

We built Chillin Stays for owners who want a more direct, more practical way to present their property online.

Our model is simple. Instead of taking a percentage of every booking, Chillin Stays provides vacation rental owners with a professional online presence for a flat-rate fee. Each owner gets a dedicated property page where they can share photos, details, policies, availability information, and the story behind their home.

The owner stays in control.

• You control the content.
• You control the guest relationship.
• You control the rental experience.
• And you keep more of what you earn.

Chillin Stays is not trying to replace every major rental platform. Those sites have their place. But not every owner needs to give up control, margin, and direct communication just to have a credible online presence.

This is for owners who know their property, care about the guest experience, and want a cleaner way to send people somewhere for more information.

• A place to show the home.
• A place to answer the common questions.
• A place to build trust before the inquiry.

Chillin Stays is built for hands-on vacation rental owners who want a professional online presence without giving up control, margin, or the guest relationship.

About the Owners

Chillin Stays was started by Don and Wade, two practical, hands-on business owners who believe vacation rental owners deserve a simpler way to showcase their homes, connect directly with guests, and keep more of what they earn.

Don

Don

Don owns and runs a marketing agency, where he has spent years helping businesses present themselves more clearly, improve their websites, and turn their online presence into something that actually supports the business.

Over the years, he has also started and sold multiple businesses, giving him a practical understanding of what it takes to build something, attract customers, manage costs, and keep the business model simple.

That experience is part of what led to Chillin Stays. From a marketing perspective, it was clear that many vacation rental owners needed a better way to showcase their property online without giving up control of the guest relationship or paying unnecessary fees on every booking.

Don brings the marketing, website, and business strategy side of Chillin Stays. His focus is making sure the platform stays clear, useful, and easy for owners to use.
Wade

Wade

Wade brings a practical operations background to Chillin Stays. He has spent many years in finance and has worked closely with nonprofits, helping make sure the details, systems, and day-to-day operations run smoothly.

The idea for Chillin Stays grew out of Wade’s own experience in the vacation rental world. As the owner of a property management company, he understands what it takes to keep a property operating, communicate with guests, manage expectations, and handle the real issues that come with short-term rentals.

That experience gives Chillin Stays a grounded perspective. Wade understands that owners do not need more complexity. They need a clear, reliable way to present their property, answer common questions, and connect directly with interested guests.

Wade brings the finance, operations, and property management side of Chillin Stays. His focus is keeping the platform practical, owner-friendly, and useful in the real world.

Together

Chillin Stays came from a simple idea: vacation rental owners should have a better way to present their homes online without giving up control of the rental relationship.

Don brings the marketing, website, and business strategy experience. Wade brings the finance, operations, and property management experience. Together, they built Chillin Stays to give independent owners a straightforward place to showcase their property, answer common questions, and connect directly with interested guests.

It is not meant to replace every major rental platform. It is meant to give owners another option — one that is simpler, more direct, and built around the people who actually own and care for the home.
